Setting

By tapping "Setting", the main settings menu will have the following Headings:

Using the options to the right of these headings to change the settings.

Offline Actions Enabled

has an on or off value, having this switched on will allow certain actions to be performed even when there is no internet connection. These actions will then be uploaded when internet connectivity is restored.

Upload Photos in Background

also has an on or off option, having this on will allow photos to be uploaded in the background, and therefore allows other tasks to be performed while your photos are uploading. Having this feature enabled can be helpful if slow connections are experienced.

Photo Target Size

is the dimension (in pixels) in which images should be uploaded to the server. The higher this number, the greater the quality of image, however this does mean more data to transfer.

Page Transitions

has three options; None, Normal and Accelerated. If the User is experiencing very slow transitions (screen changes), adjust this setting.

Keep Offline Actions For (days)

allows you to define the amount of days to store actions for, if no internet connection is available. After this period actions will become expired and therefore be discarded.

Work Offline Only

should be used when signal quality is very poor and connection keeps failing. This will allow actions to be stored up until better service is available. It is very important that this setting is only used as instructed by a system administrator for troubleshooting, as actions will only be stored for the set amount of days before being discarded.

Maximum Offline Actions Per Group

allows the definition of the size of the groups of stored actions ready for upload when an online connection resumes.

Perform Audit in Partial Mode

It is very important that this setting is only used as instructed by Ostara Systems directly prior to doing so and should not be used unless requested by a system administrator.
